Beginner Tutorial: Moving on to Advanced Editing

Moving on

You have completed the beginner tutorials here.  Where do you go from here?  Some areas of editing have barely been touched upon in these tutorials, and there are still lots of things left to be learned in areas like level design.

These beginner tutorials have been made in an orderly fashion - to be read in the set order.   The advanced tutorials aren't.  You should have enough knowledge to branch off to whatever you want to do now.  I went over the basics and you should know how to use the editor.  Now you should choose what you want to do, and whenever you need to know about an advanced topic that hinders your progress in doing what you want, check out that topic.

There are advanced level design tutorials- Digital music, sound, and other specific things are covered.

If you aren't into level design, you know enough to get you by as far as testing out your work that you do in other categories.  If you are into level design, there are lots of different things to learn.  From specific things like making doors, movers, etc., to basic advanced things like vertex editing and using the 2D shape editor to make advanced brushes.

Of course if there is something you cannot figure out how to do that isn't covered here or in the advanced tutorials (try the search engine if you can't find it) - Complain in the editing forums so I will know there is a lack of info somewhere.

This concludes the beginner tutorials. *Click*
