Other
Tips... As always in UnrealED,
there are more properties for everything than I care to cover, I just point out the most
useful and important ones. Mess around with other properties if you want to...
!! Very Important Tip !!
This is something you should ALWAYS remember when editing
texture packages in UnrealED. When you load a level up in UnrealED and the texture set is
loaded in the editor, it only loads the textures which are used in the level itself. Thats
good since it doesn't use up as much memory. However, if you then EDIT that texture set
then SAVE it, you will have saved it without any of the textures that weren't loaded (all
the textures that weren't loaded in your level will now not be re-saved after you edit the
texture set). So just be sure to LOAD the texture set itself, so it loads in full, not
just what is used in the opened level, before editing and saving that set.
Thats all I'm covering today, hope this texturing stuff helps
you make cool stuff in your levels :D |
